So I`ve been in the states now for around 14 months now,moved into new house about 6 months ago,and the basemets nice and big,got about 24ft by 14ft to play with,think I can get a full size table in there,now I mite just be able to get my hands on a very old brunswick,it belongs to a friend at work who says his father(age about 64) played on it when he was a kid and it was in the family about 20 years before he was born,I`m trying to get more details on the table ie as it got 4 or 6 legs,name etc its just stuck in a spare room in a very large house with just the grandmother giving it a quick dusting every month,I`m also looking out for a gold crown 3 or 4,can get them on e-bay but its the shipping thats the BIG problem,theres a billiard supplier near me who can get a used gold crown,recovered with my choice of cloth (what cloth should I go for ?)new cushions,delivered,set up for around $2500, which is a little expensive,anyone know of any other billiard suppliers in CT who can do a good deal on a brunswick.

I like the sound of that old table... Let us know how it goes. Is it Blatt Billiards in New York that has a tonne of the most beautiful tables in the world stacked to the roof? I'd visit there just to see them. It's only just down the road for you!
