Hi everyone, recently i bought Z2 shaft with ghost joint to fit my poison cue. Just i am wandering how will it change my game. Obviously i dont expect to change my game on plus, i think my skills will decrease due to smaller tip and differences like taper, stifness or thickness of new shaft.
I had hard times when i changed my Fury onto Poison but i won that battle eventualy. I hope it will be the same this time ;-)
Everyone who have/had this shaft can share experiences how i it is/was? I know that smaller tip - loosing accuracy on long shots but how is it in real world?

Hi mate, I switched to a Z2 about five years ago after about three years with a 3142, and I loved it from the very first shot.

If you don't mind me saying, I think your preconceptions about this shaft are a bit wide of the mark. It is actually more accurate than the 314, lower deflecting, produces more spin, and gives more solid feedback. The downside is that it is far less forgiving, it amplifies errors in your stroke. If you have a very straight cue action, you'll probably love it. If you have a 'waggley' or 'flicky' stroke you'll hate it.

Hope this makes sense?!

James

Thanks James. I hope will enjoy z2 as much as u do :-) even if not i will have to get use to it as my original venom shaft is posted on sale so there is no way to get it back ;-) but i hope z2 improve my game or at least highlight my weaknesses :-)

Had 1st session with wy new shaft. Hm.... my timming is much worst than on venom shaft and hitting feel is not as solid as on my old shaft. Is that due to smaller tip/lighter shaft? Thats only two differences what i noticed so far. Cant see extra spin or any problems with long pots. Maybe i need more time then i'll be able to tell a bit more. Also im thinking about new kamui hard tip. After payday i change and see what happens
