HI Pro9’ers My name is Ryan and I am the Manager for Arena Billiards, Loughborough, which will be opening on Monday 12th January. We currently have 15 snooker (1 in a match/training room), 5 American, 5 English, 10 Dart lanes, 3 Poker and a football table at present and we have on order a further 8 American tables. Opening from noon we are licensed till 3am every day, food will also be available throughout the day. Because of the late alcohol license It is a condition that we are a members club only, however if you check out our website there are some pre-opening offers that essentially mean you can join for free. (Exempt for competitions) and if you’re a GB9 Tour player, you’ll get a free hour upon registration!. We will be hosting tournaments throughout the year and have already secured sponsorship for 2 “big” tournaments. These will be announced as soon as we have the extra American tables installed. Talking of tables, all tables are only £5 an hour and all of our pool tables, English and American have been re-clothed, re-rubbered and re-levelled for the opening. They will be maintained to a high standard throughout the year and re-clothed for all major competitions. You can follow us on Facebook at /arenaloughborough or tweet us at #arenabilliards I look forward to seeing you all soon. Good luck with your new club. I'm a bit far away in County Durham but I hope it is well-supported.

Hi all,
Just a quick update - things are taking slightly longer than we originally anticipated, and we're putting a few finishing touches to the club, as well as making sure all the tables are absolutely perfect, so unfortunately our opening has been delayed until 5pm tomorrow (Tuesday 13th Jan), but otherwise things are coming on leaps and bounds, and we're looking forward to hopefully seeing some of you down here soon.
Early bird memberships have now ended, but we've still got memberships for sale on our website at regular prices, or of course you can just sign up in person at the club.
Cheers,
Ryan Arena Billiards

Good Luck Arena with the opening and it sounds like you guys are making a big effort to have a solid club for people to play in and enjoy.
It would be cool to see some pics from your club, so players here that may be near Loughbrough can get an idea of how the club is set up and maybe look forward to playing there.
Good luck again and will be cool to hear of when your tournaments will be organised, the more bigger tournaments in the UK for players to compete in, the better for everyone.
Cheers
