What's with the new colour i've seen all over the place for the 6 & 7? Looks like lime green and turquoise? any reason for this? [ This message was edited by: ct on 2014-12-29 05:09 ]

Yep, Cyclop TV balls, they are available in the traditional colours also and I would imagine BigDave could try to get a few sets for anyone interested in buying a set.

I've spoken to the Officially Authorised European Distrbutor, but I think that we are unlikely to have free availability of these balls in Europe unless demand reaches a level that will see at least pallet load of ball sets sold here. I don't know how many sets fit on a pallet, but I bet it's a truckload! [ This message was edited by: Administrator on 2014-12-30 17:09 ]

With Aramith ball sets, there are 6x sets in a dealer's carton and I would suspect that a pallet load would probably contain around 40 cartons, so you would be looking at 240 sets+ per pallet load, (+/- 20 cartons for shipping weight load tollerances).
Just a rough guess though BigDave and I suspect you could probably get more more details from the distributor.
The 1 thing that will matter though as a selling point in these ball sets is going to be the retail price, since they started off in the US at $140 USD / set, but retailers are now selling 'em around $200 USD / set.

Wouldn't bother, they are awful to play with im afraid. It feels like change for the sake of change.... The balls are too light and the cue ball is just like using a club cue ball from 15 years ago when we started playing the game. Need to be using a measle cue ball at the very least if playing with these balls. Just my opinion but, if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it. Apparently Cyclop are sponsoring a lot of tournaments all over the world with these balls, and I understand if players want to practice with these balls, be they good or bad, as they're probably going to bump into them if they're going to be using them in various tournaments in Europe.
