After watching a few livestreams and reading forum posts from various sourses. I have heard several big name players giving huge weight to their oppostion to even up the contest or to create a challenge for themselves.
Out of pure curiosity, what is the biggest known spot to be given during a match by either pro players or amateurs across any dicepline?
ie, One I have heard is SVB giving Corey the 5 and 6 balls in a 10 Ball race to 21.
this may be interesting to find out the views of the ore experience players out there...
cheers.

I offered a decent local English pool player a 5-0 headstart in a match first to 20 where I'd play the whole thing one-handed, and got turned down - that's a pretty big handicap!

The biggest weight I have seen given was break ball in hand the four ball and the last 3 wild with 4 on the wire to 30. This means the the person receiving the weight has 5 nine balls on the table: the 4 ball, the 6,7, 8 and obviously the 9. The term 'wild' meaning he could pot his handicap balls on the break too. It was Bustamante playing a poker player in Vegas. The poker player won for 75k cash on the lamp shade!!! A different form of weight I have given is The Hand Span. Where the person receiving the weight can move the cue ball as far as his hand span can reach from the middle of the cue ball after every shot. Probably the biggest weight I have given is 5 on the wire to 11,all the breaks and ball in hand every shot. Believe it or not I won .....but wow!! that was tough action!!! I believe you gave that sort of handicap Simba but he couldn't have been as good as you described, no way that can be refused!
Mr Maharaja, did you feel you were favourite in that action you described as tough? I'm assuming you did, otherwise you wouldn't of "gamble gambled" Tough action is doing your money having underestimated your opponent and spotting him too generously. Top players rarely take a chance.
