Whilst I'm disappointed that the likes of Earl and Johnny Archer won't be there (in Blackpool, particularly), Wilson's selection appears to be based on engendering a team ethos than individual showmen, and for that I think he's got to be applauded. I really struggled with the selection of Hatch and Morris last year ahead of Deuel and others.
Gonna be a close one I reckon, far closer than last year. But that's a given, right?

This selection by the US has a different feel altogether. SVB explains even himself that he doesn't travel well and performs his best playing in the US. I've got a feeling with most of the big personalities out the frame, perhaps Shane may come to the fore, he will be the bigger name and it wouldn't be before time for him. I reckon we will need to play well to continue our recent domination of the event. Just a pity it's an annual tournament/showcase  Nor being negative...bloomin love it

Agree with your comments about SVB puressence, he looked disenfranchised last year playing with Earl. I'll go for a Europe win but far closer than last year (obviously!).

I think that Europe will win 11 - 5 this year. I expected the USA team to be a lot younger to be honest...
