hi can any one help me on were I can get my tip done in Essex?
I have phoned cue doctors in southend but they will not do kamui soft tips and I do not know were else to try?

I am after a kamui soft black tip if any 1 can help?

They told me they don't like fitting kamui tips as they are hard to do?
Must say have never heard that 1 before but then what do I know lol

That is odd Ricky I just had 3 shafts done for friends in Berkshire by cue doctor Gary all with Kamui Black Softs. As long as you provide the tip and take it into the shop he will do. If you have a kamui clear however tell him the clear pad is part of the tip otherwise he'll cut it off lol

Absolutely Sinnero! just choose any laminated brand tip matching in colour :)
I've noticed that the black softs do tear a little when shaping (in my hands anyway), but surely not enough to warrant not re-tipping for you.

Yeah del I told him I would supply the tip but he was not happy doing kamui soft tip but I am not sure who I spoke to when I phoned up to ask about it. I was shocked when he said no as did not expect that at all but now my probkem is were to get it done?

Have you ever tried do it yourself? It isnt rocket science :-) I have done 4 on my cue. Always get frustrated but the end of a day ive got what I wanted :-)

I have thought of trying it, used to do my own snooker cue tips but never done 1 of theses before and been told its a lot harder plus tips being a lot more expensive puts me of trying, could become a expensive gamble lol :)
