Hi everyone, I decided to do some research on the most popular billiards and pool forums on the web. My goal is to build a detailed blog post that run down all of the major forums communities on the following metrics: Date of forum launch # of Users # of threads # of posts Popular post categories …and all other relevant site info Hopefully this research will provide information on the offerings of each community - and will allow readers to pick the ‘best’ online forums. So far, I’ve researched the following forums (Minimum requirement for inclusion is a Google Pagerank of 3), AZ Billiards Inside Pool Billiards Digest OnePocket.org Uk8Ball Usenetsports Socal pool talk Poolfanatic Seyberts Poolchat Easypooltutor World pool championship Southern Billiards Pro9 Nola.com Xtreme Forum What I need now is some member feedback on what my research can’t tell me - which forum is truly the ‘best’. I’ll include the best user comments in my blog post to help illustrate the intanglibles each offers. Please help me out by leaving a comment at my blog ( BilliardsBlogger.com) letting me know which forum is the best and why. Feel free to speak about more than one forum - I’ll give a $50 Amazon coupon to the member who makes the most compelling argument for ranking the forums in a certain manner. Thanks in advance for the help with this - I think it’ll provide some real value to the billiards and pool community. It’s November 28th today - lets give it 2 weeks to pull in some comments. I’ll write a post announcing the winner on December 10th. One last thing - feel free to vote in the ‘best forum’ poll on the sidebar - I’ll use that as possible data for overall ranking as well. Pro9 has to be higher up the list than that surely? And UK8Ball is a complete joke! Have you read the posts on that site and watched how it's run? Just read it for a day and draw your own conclusions. Better still register and post a few times and see if you manage not to get banned. Even Shir was banned 3 times!
