Fliers will be going out in the club by the weekend and there is a large student base that play 9 ball so hopefully there will be a few spots available from this event.

I haven't been to the club in Nottingham for a couple of years so am unsure what the tables are like at the minute. Once i get chance to pop in i will make a decision regarding the 3 point rule and post it immediately.

The matches will be a race to 9 alternate break.

Yes, it will depend on numbers if it is a full double Eliminator though. It may just be until the quarter finals with the winners drawn against the players with one loss. I have dropped fliers in the club yesterday so am hopeful to get some entries coming in soon.

I haven't heard from them, i will talk to the manager next week though, I still believe there will be enough from the uni to run it once he has spoken to them. Going to focus purely on gb9 for the weekend but then this will be my priority

Sorry, on a slightly different topic. Does anyone know why all the GB9 venues and events are in the midlands or northern England and none in the south?

I'd put this question to one of the committee members or Andy Warden in an email, as most things relating to GB9 matters don't usually get discussed in a public forum.
All contact email addresses can be found on the GB9 website.

Just a general enquiry, didn't realise it was a touchy subject. Thanks Dazza.
