Nobody likes to crow but I do believe the new world rankings reveal that the top 10 shows 3x players from Yorkshire, whereas the top 32 only features two from the US...

I have long been wondering (well, just the last couple of years) what makes Yorkshire sportsmen and women such overachievers - I have not come to any conclusions, but is it just me, or are there many exceptionally gifted/driven sports stars from Yorkshire.
Who's that Tour de France cyclist?

I cannot find "Hatchman" in the list, and Earl at ranked 139 !
By the list, European's will run the Yanks down. The lowest ranked European is 20 and only one Yank below that.
