I am curious to know how many players out here would like to see a UK/Ireland 9 ball singles league. Something that is handicapped with excellent prizes.
I would love to hear ideas or just a yes/no answer.
Thanks

Just so everyone knows. I already have a complete design and it will be introduced if players actually want a large scale league with great prizes. Currently it has been shown to four locations. Three loved it and the fourth has not responded yet.

This idea was used a few years ago, but after 2007 was not repeated. I competed myself from my local club and managed to qualify for the finals in Birmingham. Great experience. Here is the link to the story of the last APN handicap leagues tournament. http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=624

Bruno, do you think players would like to have a large scale 9 ball league?

I think so. I'm surprised no-one has chipped in on this topic yet. You would probably be better talking to club managers to see the demand for it. I know in Aberdeen, the 9 ball scene has whittled away, but if a regular tournament was available, then who knows...
