I gotta say that the prices are a bit over the top, I got a ball case for a set of Centennials that I got a year back and I was able to get a carrying case for £20 :)

I hope that something will come up for you Paul :) as it seems like the UK still has some catching up to do in terms of available equipment, but it's most definitely getting there :)

Take care everyone :)

Willie

I have one of those ball cases and they are made out of the same stuff as low quality pool cue box cases. I have had mine 2 year it has never been out the club but it still falls appart every other week. Next time I am going to get one of those cheapo tool brief cases out of a DIY shop and fill it with foam. You know the ones with the aluminium corners.

£45 is a lot of cash for a hunk of junk and it does not even lock - I know I paid it ;-(

That does surprise me mole that you have had probs with your case.
Ive sold them both for snooker and pool and havent had any complaints.

Nice 1 Paul :), It's a worth investment :) and it'll keep your ivories in better condition for loads longer than a cardboard box will :)

There are a few different brands of the carying cases andyes, you fill be unlucky to find a trashy case that will fall apart, just like The Mole was saying, but there are good quality cases out there also and I was able to get a good quality case, but then again, when I was buying the case, I had a chance to inspect it before I bought it and so I new it was a good case that I was getting, but if you're ordering one, then it's hard to tell if you're getting a good solid case or now, but just like Tricky has said, if you're buying from a retailer that stocks them and has had no complaints, then that is the way to go :)

Take care everyone :)

Willie

P.S. Does anyone here in the UK know of where I can buy a set of the TV Tour Editin of Centennials here in the UK?:)... any info will be very much appreciated :)

Willie :)

Anyone wanting a quality case should have a look on: American Pool Network.
They have some very nice cases on there.

If this is what you mean this was the cheapest I could find them at the time online in the UK. Bought a set a few months back.

Think I'd be tempted to try and make my own case if I could find a case shell that was an appropriate size, but i like making things :)

Willie that's a nice set of balls you're looking to get your hands on. I was thinking of investing some cash in some myself. Like Hitler, I've only got one ball at the minute. Its a rash covered thingy (err ..maybe I should vist the NHS website?!) No it's a TV ball, a Super Aramith Pro cup with the six spots, excellent for practising with and doing some spin magic and cost £20. I recommend anyone to get one.

Regards ;-)

PS: As for Ball cases, I haven't got a clue (Maybe a goose egg box is a cheap option?)
