It would appear that the legendary United States, Hall of Famer and multi time, world champion is currently touring various clubs and venues in Ireland.
What a privilege it would be if we could entice him to take the short boat trip over to the mainland in England/Wales/Scotland to continue his roadshow.
Weather to love him or hate him...you can't take away his amazing god given talent across a pool table. To be able to witness somebody of his standing within the game would be too good an oppertunity to miss.

 For anybody that hasn't met Earl you won't be disappointed! His matches are always fun to watch and anything can happen. Off of the table I found him to be very generous with his time and very entertaining! A great player and person for my money! Your opinion may differ!

"American multiple pool champion Earl Strickland will be hosting an exhibition in The Cross Square Hotel on Thursday July 11 as part of his Irish Tour. The outspoken controversial 5 times U.S. Open 9 ball champion will be accompanied by Sky Sports during the course of his Irish Tour as they are going to present a one hour documentary on the greatest player of all time. Earl, who will be staying in Cullyhanna with Irish champion Sean Hoey, earned notoriety for his run in with legendary snooker player Steve Davis before, during and after their World Pool Championship match back in 2003 which was covered by Sky Sports. Earl will begin his Irish Tour in Belfast on July 4 with Ballymena, Courtown, Fintona, Navan and Castlebar the other venues to host this once in a lifetime opportunity to see a World great in action. It is great credit to Sean that he uses his local hotel to give the people of south Armagh the opportunity to see a player who has been ever-present on the American Mosconi Cup team for 15 years to perform a dazzling array of unbelievable trick shots. Let’s hope that Sean’s trust in the local audience will be rewarded with “the house full signs” erected long before the 8 pm start time. Already a large number of tickets at £10 each (available at hotel reception) or from Sean (0863991044) have already been snapped up by pool enthusiasts throughout Newry and Mourne who know what entertainment and value the night offers. Hopefully the interest that Sky Sports have in Strickland will be reflected by an invite to Mosconi Cup 20! Also, I hope that the documentary is a bit more daring in it's content and shows Earl in a balanced light...

It's good to see Earl enjoying himself! I also love to hear him bash the "playground shots" because there's too many of these in most trick shot routines. The three heavy spin shots that I seen are the best ones...

i flew over to belfast to the green room to see Earl in action all i can say is he is awesome, and puts a great show on, there is a possibility of Earl coming back over the water later in the year to england and scotland, if there is enough interest? i sincerely hope it can happen, the man to get in touch with on facepook is sean hoey.
