Got a Predator Sport case with the lockable zip a few weeks ago, and it got me thinking. There have been snooker and English 8-ball hard box style cases that are lockable for years, but as far as I'm aware the only American pool cue case that is lockable is the Predator Sport, has the American pool industry "missed a trick"?

not really, as the locks on snooker cases are not much use and can be broken by a pair of pliers

I think you've got a good point there Matt, considering the price of some chalks and tips nowadays, it might stop the occasional opportunist from "borrowing" your more valuable accessories without your permission if there's a small padlock on the zip to the pouch compartment - but it won't stop a determined thief from taking your entire case if the chance presents itself. The only problem with padlocked compartments is, who wants to go searching for a key when you need that special tool/gadget when the shotclock is counting down mid-match?
