Hi,
I'm playing with a Predator Ikon 4 and I'm looking to have an extension made that will screw directly into where the rubber bumper currently sits. I'm aware that slip on extensions already exist but I don't like the product and want something more permanent and solid that fits seamlessly to the current butt and adds some nice weight.
I'm based in the North-West and have already sent out a PM to Adam Shaw about it but I'm doubting that he's checked his messages recently. Is there anybody else that is pretty local to me that can do a good job of it?
Cheers,
PH

Well, something like that would be ideal for me. I think a 12" extension added would be overkill but 6" is just plain handy. I played with a load of old cues and experimented and I had one from English 8 that I used years ago that was 57" and had an 8mm tip and it was really hard to break/run with it. I then put on a 6" extension and the cue became an animal despite the unorthodox, small tip. I play with a straight bridge arm and I hold a 58" cue at the very back with a minimal thumb and two fingers. At the minute I'm using every bit of the cue and what I found was that with the extension my action felt a lot less forced and relaxed... So, do we not know anybody that can help me out?

Ive got a unique poison, made for Raj, its got about an extra inch and a half on the butt... It is literally like a 1.5" butt cap... Ill try put some pics on later. Its closer to 60" than anything. Plays like a dream too!

Sounds nice! I think I'm going to contact Peradon as their factory is quite close to where I live. Hopefully they can get me what I want but their standard extension is narrower than the butt of the cue so it's not like they could just adjust the joint to fit a Predator.

I don't really have the money to play on GB9 regularly these days (I never see any of it back!) but I'm hoping to play in the Leeds event...

Hi, I was really looking for something within driving distance so I'm not worrying about my cue in the post. Is this Paul Morgan by any chance? If so I remember you from GB9 and I liked your work. Do you still get up to the GB9 events?

It's Paul Talbot. Known him for years. He made a very nice one off jump cue for me.
