Another thread got me thinking what players would be in UK team to take on the super powers of the world in both 9 & 8 ball comps maybe in a mosconi type format

OK my pick on current form would be: Appleton Peach Boyes Raybone Gray Morris It's very hard not to include Mick in my selection but you can't ignore current form and the above 6 are all playing very well right now. I still believe Mick is the best 8 ball player *in the world* but he's a bit shell-shocked about the IPT situation at the moment and not really playing on the fast Simonis cloth. The concept of a UK team to take on the superpowers of the world is not as far fetched as it might sound. There have been discussions about a match against one of the super powers of Europe.
