Not a lot really!

The IPT is commiting business suicide by not paying the players their prize money from Reno.

Everyone went in to the IPT with open eyes. Pool players are sharp and knew the risks, they took a gamble, and frankly even if it ends here, I think the pool world has gained from this.

I doubt Ho casinos will be interested in the IPT now that the US have banned online gambling!

It's sad, but it's not looking good for the IPT.

It is looking even worse for those players who have invested a lot of money in the venture (travel, hotels, entries etc) only to see it all down the drain.
I am not convinced yet that all is lost.

If you work for a business i.e. deliveries-managers-genaral labour etc. You work for that company for a reason, being either money, or any other reason, you expect to be paid for your time and commitment. After all a business needs customers for it to survive! Pool players are just like customers, they pay there money to enter these events for a reason!! not just for the sake of it. They do it for reward! there are many types of rewards out there but the main one is the money!! without the money its pointless. Now, if i went to work and spent an amount of my own money out my own pocket to get there and the business didnt pay me! why should i carry on using my own money knowing there is nothing coming back.
We all need each other in this sport and what i cant understand is if the business is 100% genuine then why is someone unavailable to sort monies owing? there should be a system set up to stop this from happening, and for this business to be so massive! then why the problems?? to me the players come first every time without question!!! as without the players there would be no business!
There is no smoke without fire!
Can anyone tell me where all the money owing is? cos it sounds to me like theres some interest being gained somewhere for someone.
Sorry for the waffle guys but i write it as i thinks it.
Final note, If i could not get hold of someone because he or she was on holliday or something and this went on for a while, i would draw my own ideas on it. I would be smelling a rat and would think twice before sniffing again. lol
It should not happen!! full stop. To a business this big?? does not make any sense to me.
Like the big man said "SUICIDE" hope i'm wrong! some please tell me.
Steve.

Yeah, you could be right, but looking at this news today from the BBC looks like the American online casino market is taking a huge dive!

Surely the huge amount of traffic the IPT web site generates is the most valuable asset the IPT has to offer HoCasino.net?

If this is really the end of the IPT, and by reading the linked post by malaguista it sounds like it maybe, it's a real shame if it's true as it gave players a goal to aim for.

If it is the end do you think even more player of the big named players will start playing on the EPT?
