how about a 400 or 500 a man single elim knockout all races to 21 all played on diamond at vegas bar. 3 matches to take place every saturday ( streamed), with same time slots as mmtv - 11.30, 2.30 , 6.30. every player get there backers to make up the 500. might get 8 top players in this n may take 4 or 5 week to finish but would make great entertainment on saturday nights and people can prepare for their matches instead of being drained on a long weekend. any thoughts?

Any chance of running one alongside on the Brunswick for level 4 players, so us choppers can have a chance. Sure you could get 8 players at 200 a pop

You can do it over 2 days if it's just played on the one table. Just need 4 time slots the first day instead of 3

Great idea this. Playing a big event like this over several weeks has a great feel to it. Kind of like pot black lol. My advice is just don't make it every Saturday and another MMTV lookalike. It needs to be different and the matches need to be something everyone can look forward to and where the spectators can have some fun too.

I wouldn't do 3 sessions in a day - 2 is enough so people can come and watch and have a drink without it beijng a full day job. Even 1 session on 2 tables would do the job. It could be on a Friday or Saturday night once or twice a month.

Maybe 6pm and 9pm would do the trick. That's 4 matches per night. If max 16 players you could do it over 5 weekends with 4 matches per night (the fifth weekend would just be the final which could be a longer race).

Race to 18 should ensure no late night finishes and the spectators don't get bored, whilst still giving a decent long race.

Just my 2 cents worth :)
