There is plenty of talk in AZ about the fact that nobody has received their winnings after the Reno event.
What is the situation in the UK?, has anyone been paid yet?
I know someone who definitely has not been paid.
I also kow a player who won $5k in March and was paid in July, is this right?
Over to you all.................

To my knowledge our players have not been paid from Reno or Vegas. Regarding Vegas, I believe that's because they elected to wait until Reno to collect their winnings when they would have sorted their US tax situation out. So they are owed quite a lot.

Surely they got to pay up soon or face players boycotting forthcoming events.... bit out of order really there is loads of players especially those who have paid thousands of £'s to qualify for these big events and they do well i.e. Boyzi and not get paid i would be abit annoyed*.

Makes me have reservations about playing in qualifiers if this is the case they aint paying out after each event.

maybe they thought 25 players would turn up to each tour card qualifier and this would pay for every players prize money :-)

Riggers have they said yet when everyone will be paid?

:D Thanks for understanding!

I'm always scared that someone will "blow up" one day and quote the "Freedom of Speech Act" whenever I edit a post - I do try to do it as little as possible.

I'm just trying to foster an environment that you would feel comfortable showing your grandparents, because, let's face it, you might want to show them if you've just won an event or something!

Back "on topic"... People were told at Reno that because they changed the payment structure (so that all players got a different amount) they had to "print" new cheques and that's why they weren't paid... But I think it's been too long that they haven't been paid, and the IPT normally quash rumours like this with a reply, but there's been no reply yet!

Also, people promised commission for entering players haven't been paid yet either apparently.

It's not looking good! :(

I hope the disappointing attendance at the Tour Card Qualifier tournaments weren't the nail in the coffin!

I've enjoyed watching the IPT and it's been a great ride for all those lucky enough to get on it, let's hope it's not the beginning of the end.

I have banked my cheque from the first event in Vegas.

As for the second event in Reno.....still waiting. I have just sent an email asking whats going on to the IPT so when i get a reply i will let you all know.

This confusion is defo effecting the numbers in the qualifiers for sure!!.....and i mentioned this in the email i sent also.

Big Dave and Daryl surely they could have paid everyone after each event using a system similar to BACS and the prize money is paid straight into your account and dont have to worry about getting home and paying it in.

How bad would that be if you got home and paid your cheque in and they didn't have the funds :-S not worth thinking about especially after all them 12 hour days playing to make ends meet.

Before i heard about this i couldn't wait to play in a qualifier but then finding out that players aint getting there prize money for a month or too after sounds ridiculous.

I did send an e-mail to the IPT a few days ago on behalf of a Spanish Player,
I got a reply the next day which said

"He should be getting it very shortly"

It doesn't inspire confidence but here's hoping.

Sorry Malagusita but a player who is waiting for his prize money weeks after is not right they got to look at this and improve it but i would say they would stay away if it continues but with the the massive amounts on offer who's not too think "its my tournament this time" and walk away with the top prize but then you dont paid til months later somewhat takes the gloss off your performance cos the main reason you are playing for is surely the prize money.

Hope your friend gets paid soon.

I think this issue should be brought up at the next players meeting at the next IPT event.
