Tiger Sniper - around £10 from most good pool equipment retailers

Moori Soft - sadly not available from most good pool retailers and becoming increasingly hard to find

I have used moori mediums, slows and le pro's and the only way for me to go is tiger snipers they hit great and really hold their shape well i would strongly reccommend them to anyone.
Riggers try a sniper on the hardness index they are right between a slow and medium but with the fantastic shape holding properties. Simon has tried my sniper ask him for a verdict.

I have to concede....Tiger Sniper....its a taste sensation!
Played a set with PCs Sniper loaded 314 and didn't miss a great deal. Very nice hit, similar to a Moori Medium, perhaps a tad softer. I liked it a lot.

Tiger Sniper or Everest for sure. I was a Moori man until I tried the Tiger tips and I'll NEVER go back. Much cheaper than Mooris and just plain better.

I use a moori soft. Riggers, you can get them quite easily on ebay. I get mine from a reputable dealer on ebay in the states @ $19.95 for 2 plus $3.95 shipping. PM me if you want any more info....

For those people who like a soft tip, there is another tip to try....Triangle. These came under recommendation from Rodney Morris. I haven't had one complaint, does what it says on the tin. Too soft for me but for those people who are into soft tips its a god send. Higher quality than an elk also.

I gotta say that although that some guys are used to elkmaster tips, but they really are trash, I'm sorry for those elkmaster fans, but theire tips are not any good for pool, in fact a soft tip, will only make your spin shots alot harder to control because you get a bigger delay in the time it takes the snowball to grip the rag, especially draw and follow shots and it's just not giving you as fair a shot as a medium tip would, but everyone has their preferences The best thing that I can advise anyone that likes a cue tip to have a soft hit, is toe buy a medium tip, like a Moori Med or similar and a 'Tip Pik' tip tool and go over the cue tip and gently poke the tiny points into the cue tip, that way the cue tip till keep it's hardness, but at the same time, give a softer and more reactive hit, when it come to putting a little alipinio on the rock , if a 'Tip Pik' isn't available, then get a sewing needle and repeatdle poke the tiny holes into the surface of the cue tip By doing this, you'll also find that the tip will hold chalk alot better too Give it a try for yourself and see what you think, but like I said before, everyone has their preferences and I'm just adding some more info, that some of you may not have considered Willie

Moori medium for me every time I have tried sniper and others and they are good tips but I just keep coming back to Moori. I find they are the most consistant tip I have played with. Also they last for ages and ages if you look after them and don't hack them appart with a tip pik or fiddle with them all the time, once I get the right shape I just leave it alone until it dies
