For some time now I have been using a cheap playing cue to break with, its sole purpose being to prevent damaging my playing cue...

I would appreciate anyones views on the best sort of break cue on the market in the budget of about £130-£200 (2nd hand or new)!!

Regards

SmallDave

Wayne Holmes made me a custom Jump/Break cue with both a sledgehammer type shaft and one with a hard leather tip.

MY CUSTOM WAYNE BREAK CUE

I have had it about a year and I love it.

I have owned both a real sledgehammer and a Predator BK and for me my Wayne comes out tops.

Small Dave.
Have you tried a Bunjee Blaster they are very similar to a Sledge Hammer phenolic tip etc. they are around the £100 mark.

If you play on bpppa tour i do have a guy who would let you try out one.

I use Oliver Stops Mega Hammer and I am very pleased with it.

A friend of mine has the X-Breaker and he is very happy with it. It is amazing to jump with - he can jump using the rest with the cue at full length! I will definitely get an X Breaker next time.
