Hi im a 20 year old student looking for some new people to play pool with in London or nearby (i'm based in South Buckinghamshire)

Anyone up for a game some time? I'm not sure how good I am. I once ran 3 racks and have won about 6/25 bar tournaments against randoms, but I'm really looking for a real test.

So people just ask each other for a game down here?

I usually find its somewhat like playing in sludge @ Rileys :(

You certainly will find a good test there.

Yeah, most Rileys do not really keep their tables maintained well, but Victoria is different, playing conditions are very good there.

Rileys Victoria has only recently reclothed their tables in the IPT club edition of Gorina cloth, and the tables are playing beautifully.

Enjoy.

I think Victoria is a great club but personally I am not a fan of the two match tables at the front of the club. The best table I have seen in a club was the Brunswick Metro match table in Rileys Northampton.

Which cloth is better: Gorina or Simonis?

I think they need just a little more bedding in as well, I think victoria need to have a look at the rails on a few of the tables as the ball is just dying off them
