Greetings to all.. I am Joe Van Buren from www.classiccues.com. I have been dealing cues for over 10 years and active in both pool and poker. My playing cue is a Fanelli, but own a few different cues like a Gus Szamboti, a George Weston, and some others. I love the US classically styled cue and that is why we are classiccues. I manage the website for Mark Kulungian a collector and recognized authority on older cues, especially Balabuhska's. He also owns www.pooltablemagic.com and if you are ever stateside, please stop in for a drink and a tour. Si, Sanjay, and Maurice from House of Billiards in the Netherlands are all good friends. So I do have a connection to that side of the pond. Si had a great trip to the SBE which he will surely share his adventures. We had some great times, shot some pool and saw fantastic cues. Si is really tops with his cues and can send you in the right direction if a custom cue is what you seek. He also shoots a good game of 9. Cheers mate and welcome on board. Pro9 is the leading American pool website in the UK, maybe even Europe.
Mark and Joe are certainly an authority on the vintage cue market. I get as much help as I can whenever I make vintage cue purchases and most of my old cue knowledge has come from Joe and Mark. I would never make a big purchase on an old cue without their blessing.
Hey Joe......how about an interview for Pro9? The first dealer interview!!
