The current 9 ball league at Rileys, Solihull is coming to an end and I am now taking entries for the restart.

This league is becoming hugely popular, I anticipate that there will be about 26 runners this time with no fewer than 10 GB9 tour players.

Format: Split into 2 groups with previous top finishers seeded into each group.

Each player plays everybody in their group once. Race to 9, winner breaks. Handicaps for previous league members only against top 4 previous group finishers.

At end of group games, top 6 in each group play-off in straight ko for cash. All other players go into plate with smaller cash prize.

Entry: £10 + £2 per week for 15 weeks (all money paid out less £3 admin fee)

When Flexible. Mostly played alongside weekly 9-ball ko on a Wednesday evening but matches can be arranged at other times.

Contact If you need more information or would like to enter call Andy Warden on 07767 660 885, send me a pm, post here or come down to Solihull on a Wednesday :-)

Its worth mentioning to anybody considering travelling to solihull for this league that there is also a £3 knockout tournament each wednesday evening meaning your journey is more worthwhile.

The last league had players travelling to solihull from as far as leicester, nottingham, dudley, and evesham, all of whom will be rejoining the next league proving the leagues success.

Keep up the good work cueman

The closing date for entry to the new Solihull legaue is 16th April.

All entry entry fees must be paid by then (£10), the draw will take place on the evening of the 16th (before the weekly ko commences) to decide who plays in which group.

Players from previous league need to confirm that they wish to participate. Any new players who wish to enter or who would like further information, please contact me by phone, pm or in person on a Wednesday evening.

Thanks,

Andy :-)
