I will be holding a 9 ball comp at Rileys in Derby (Babington lane) Sunday 16th March.
This has been advertised in the club for quite some time and there is a fare bit of interest.
Register by 10:30 - Call me on the day if your running late. Entry - £10 Double elim or Groups followed by single K/O depending on numbers. Matches will be race to 7 - Final race to 9
I have left this until now to put on here as it is a lower profile tournament which there is no entry for GB9 top 32. (Sorry guys), I would imagine any of you wishing to play that weekend will be at Mickey Flynn's anyway.
For any more info give me a call on : 07738951064
Kev Simpson.

Things are looking up if anyone else fancies it, I have had quite a few calls over the last few days.
I am now expecting somewhere between 20 and 30 entries. Please dont quote me on that though!

Sorry Dave, didn't check the computer before i left this morning.
We only had 13 entries but doing two groups of 6 & 7 made it good value.
I don't have the full list with me at the moment but Group 1 winner was Martin Chapman and Runner up was Mark Mc Neish
Group2 winner was Adam Stevens and runner up Kev Simpson
Liam Wilson and Dave Simmonds missed out of qualifying by just one rack from group 1 and Mark Thacker missed out by one rack in group 2
Semi finals
Adam Stevens 9 - 7 Mark McNeish Kev Simpson 9 - 1 Martin Chapman
Final
Kev Simpson 9 - 4 Adam Stevens
Thanks to all for coming.

Wohooo!!!! I made a final, although Kev played like a steam train in that match. He was marching round the table like it was his own.
Well played Kev

Thanks Adam - I think the signs of a long day for you and Liam started to show a bit in the final. If you had played like you did when you beat me in the group it would of been very close.
Also a top performance in the semi to win from 4-1 down.
Well done mate and see you in Croydon.
