Nice one, we are half way there.
I am expecting an answer from the older generation now, who may remember this cue.

Hi, It wouldn't be the cue that a certain Mr. Peach used to win the World Pool Masters in 1995 would it? Chris. [ This message was edited by: Chrstc on 2008-02-26 19:21 ]

I don't think you'd have much trouble getting some action playing with that thing.

Chris. Chris you are too good mate. Yes this is the cue and Daryl used this for quite some time and after getting the Viking, he even used it to break with. So there you go folks.....you don't need a wad of cash to buy that dream cue to win titles (Behave Dimondo!)....just an amount of talent. Having said that....I bet Dazzler wouldn't go back to it, ha, ha! [ This message was edited by: thediamond on 2008-02-26 19:41 ]

Hello, That cue is a major piece of UK 9 ball history! By the way has anyone noticed the similarities between that cue and a certain Dominiak model which has got rave reviews over on AZ? http://www.dominiakcues.com/kandycurly.htmlChris. [ This message was edited by: Chrstc on 2008-02-26 19:45 ]

In the mid-90s...9 ball was still in relative infancy in the UK so equipment was very hard to come by. Plus not knowing what to buy also. If it had a big tip, it did the job. The knowledge came a little after that. Up to 1995, all I had was snooker cues and in 1996, Andy Richardson got me an American pool cue....I was hooked after that. It must have been great to see Daryl win that title with this cue, ha, ha!
