A few weeks ago, Big Dave posted an article on the front page about an upcoming exhibition by Ralf Souquet taking place in Falkirk in April. Full details have just been posted on the
SAPPA Forum and I thought I'd pass them on here.

Ralf Souquet Exhibition Evening, April 5th 2008The Creamery Sports Bar will be staging a fantastic evening of pool on April 5th 2008. The legend, Ralf ‘The Kaiser’ Souquet, will be displaying his skills on the evening and playing Scotland’s top players in a series of challenge matches. The agenda for the evening is as follows:-
7.00pm Introduction of all players appearing on the evening, including pre-qualifying tourney winners & sponsors
7.10pm Ralf v Tourney winner 1 match (9-Ball race to 3)
7.25pm Ralf v Tourney winner 2 match (9-Ball race to 3)
7.40pm Ralf’s Jump cue and shot demonstration
7.50pm Ralf v Tourney winner 3 match (9-Ball race to 6)
8.15pm Straight pool run raffle by Ralf. Winner will be the spectator whose seat number matches Ralf’s break total.
8.30pm Scotch doubles match, Ralf and Tourney 3 runner up v Michael & Pat (9-Ball race to 6)
9.00pm Buffet will be served from 9pm. There will be a 15 minute allocation for each group of 40 within the restaurant. During this time, there will be a warm up 9-ball match for our Scottish players Michael ‘The Yeti’ Valentine & Pat ‘Silky’ Holtz, this allowing them to get ready for the main events of the evening.
9.45pm ***MAIN EVENT No.1*** : Souquet v Holtz 8-ball (race to
11.00pm ***MAIN EVENT No.2*** : Souquet v Valentine 9-ball (race to 13)
12.00pm Close and thank you to everyone
If you fancy being part of this very special evening, please get involved in our pre-qualifying events which will be staged on the following dates. It is worth noting that neither Michael Valentine nor Pat Holtz will be competing in any of the qualifying events!.
Tourney 1 Sunday March 2nd - Open 9-Ball tournament, £10 entry which includes table charge
The winning prize is a VIP ticket for the day, this including a 3-course meal at the players’ table, a question and answer session with the guys, autographs etc. You will also be playing Ralf in match 3 of the exhibition evening.
Runner up prize is a ticket for the evening, and you will partner Ralf in our Scotch doubles challenge match against Michael & Pat.
Tourney 2 Sunday March 9th - Club Members 9-Ball Open event, £5 entry loser paying the table
The winning prize is a ticket for the evening and match 2 playing Ralf.
Tourney 3 Sunday March 16th - Under 18 9-Ball Open event, £5 entry loser paying the table
The winning prize is a ticket for the night and match 1 playing Ralf.
