I stayed to watch the final stages of the GB9 Pro and Challenge cups yesterday and I really liked the way each player was anounced to the crowd. It really added to the atmosphere of the event. I remember thinking at the time though, that it would have been even better if the players had come on to walk on music. It certainly works well in the darts. I just wanted to put the idea on here an see what people think about it. Who would be GB9's version of Wayne Mardle?

If this idea is implemented it will give me a massive incentive to reach a semi final since Darkside is determined that I walk on to the sound of 'Play it Now... Play it now....' from Neil Diamond's Cracklin' Rosie after our makeshift karaoke session in the bar in Malaga [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2008-02-04 13:11 ]

Great idea!
If I get to a semi final, my music would be 'lucky man' by The Verve!

As I'm from Devon I'll go for "I've got a brand new combine harvester" by the Wurzels. ----------------- Multiple winner of the Solihull Wednesday knockout competition. [ This message was edited by: chirst147 on 2008-02-05 23:34 ]

Morning Glory by Oasis (after the helicopter bit) would be my real walk on music, if we do it and if I ever get there.
