Clapham? Southfields? Rushey Green? Shepherd's Bush? Croydon? I think the "Greats" still hang out at Victoria though, there's still no place like it for action. I went to Rileys in Aldershot today... Only a few American tables but some beautiful match/private rooms upstairs with plush seating. [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-12-30 23:00 ]

A friend of mine used to get a LOT of action down at victoria. I still think the local no farming rule is bs tho.

Yeah, farming is an integral part of 9-ball and I'm sure the Victoria no farming rule is only there to deny the fish any hope at all of an even chance! [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-12-31 12:32 ]

Yeah, would be nice to see 9-ball become a call pocket game but that will never happen.

Farming is mostly when you knock the 9 in, either by accidently, luck, fluke or whatever. No one at Victoria really likes losing that way, especially when playing for money . Same no farming rule applies for 10 ball
