Hello everyone. I am brand new to this forum so please go easey on me, I scare easily!!!!!!
I was wondering if anybody picked up what Jim Wych said at the end of Day 4 about the location for next years Mosconi Cup. He mentioned Manchester once or twice which got me thinking as I prusumed Bethnall Green would have been the obvious choice if playing in the UK. If it is Manchester then here's 1 fan champing at the bit for tickets!!!!!!

yea same here. I did hear when i was watching the coverage on Sunday night that one of the players said it was back in Britain, but nothing has been confirmed as yet, or so i think.
I will definatly be saving up some shiney coins to go to view this, it would be fantastic.

I also noticed that when Simon was interviewing Johan after the match, he said "the Mosconi Cup back on British soil next year, should be a great event". I look forward to sampling the atmosphere at the highest profile event in the pool calender - Europe two years on the bounce? I think so!!!

Thanks for the rapid responses chaps !!!!!
I'm planning on getting some T shirts printed up......you know, something to wind the Yanks up. Any suggestions/artwork would get the ball rolling (so to speak!)
I reckon a 4 day pass, a decent hotel & lots of the Amber Nectar should make for a cracking jolly!!!!!
Anyone want a lift from Newcastle??????/

Ah yes, Rileys in John Street.........happy days. Myself & a few mates used to shoot 9 Ball in a 'Round Robin' 'til the wee small hours whilst getting sideways on the BOGOF Carlsberg.

Maybe the circus wouldn't give him the time off Although saying that, Earl 'The Girl' must have gotten his Lieu days signed by the Clown supervisor What an ignorant, disrespectful, arrogant person that bloke is. He should be banned from the game. I do not know the logic behind his antics. He has got nothing to prove to nobody. He has won everything the game has to offer, most of it Stateside, but he should be whetting his whistle at the prospect of winning a lot more now that the game has gone big worldwide, instead of whinging big time when he's getting whupped. I would be interested to hear what others think about him & Team USA in general. Do they really think they are unbeatable? Are they spitting their dummies out because other players around the world have got the weight of them & can beat them at their own game? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-12-19 10:25 ]

i think he has mental problems(earl)he can't accept he has lost a game because he got outplayed, its always someone else's fault or they got lucky. he's past it he might win a short race against someone but in a longer race he wouldn't win against the better players. the U.S team are bitter for losing, most of them bad losers. They ain't unbeatable at all, they think they are the best but alot of players in the world match them.
