Just wanted to say I hope everything is ok for our good friend and colleague, Ted Bristow. I hope his health improves and that he takes a much needed rest with his wonderful family.
All the best for the future, Ted. Thank you for everything you have done for our sport, I know others feel the same, my friend.

Si I would like to echo those sentiments wholeheartedly, Although I didn't get to play in a BPPPA event, I did still get to chat with Ted on a few occasions and he has done quite alot for American Pool in the UK and so, I personally would also like to wish him and family all the very best of health and happiness in the future. A very sad day for pool in the UK. Not enough nice superlatives in the english language to describe this man!!! Thanks for everything you've done for me and the UK pool world too! All the best, Ted. Hope things improve and you enjoy some well-earned time with the family! Take it easy my friend, James [ This message was edited by: Reaper on 2007-12-17 10:23 ]

Yeah top man - always welcoming and had time for a chat at events. All the best Ted. Well done on BPPPA and keeping the sport ticking along nicely - helped create a World Champ with one of it's founder members.

well i never got a shirt!! i paid my member fee up in full and when i did there as only been 4 bppa events since when shud have been around 8-9!! i feel as if have been short changed! not good in my opinion and no explanation and never got any updates etc! feel the tour last 2 years as been pretty bad and for amount of money going into bppa not enough was getting back to the players really there asnt been a season but we all paid our fees £165 whatever it was! am just glad lee as safed uk pool because without him we would have nothing and wouldnt have a future for 9ball in uk to look forward to, plus the guy will not get a penny for all work his doing i find that amazing but at same time shows his desire to make sure the players get what they deserve and better prize fund for all us players! but besides that away from bppa i found ted a pleasant bloke and wish him all the best of health in world and best of luck in future!! god bless [ This message was edited by: dynamitedaz on 2007-12-17 20:31 ]
