when u look how many spectators there are at this years uk u wonder why pool isnt on tv as much???? uk meant to be one of the big events and there seems to be a handful of spectators at each match...... -----------------

putting the event in telford probably hasnt helped much,when it was at york i went each year and everytime i went it was a full crowd or near enough.
saying that when dott is playing no way are they going to get people to pay and watch him play,worst thing to happen to snooker him playin it

lol.
I used to go to crucible and york every year and the crowds were fantastic. I rember the first time i went saw ronnie and stephen h in semi, loved every minute.

To answer someones question above I believe the reason they moved it was due to refurbishment of the York Barbican Centre. I think and hope that the move is only temporary.
