hi all, got back today from 4 weeks of madness so here is my thoughts of the last month for anyone interested

1, massive congrats to daryl peach(2007 world 9ball pool champion) awsum performence nice ring to it pal,the busta match was amazing you had to be there to feel the pressure, the crowd was awsum and to hold yourself together in that situation is y your world champ, enjoy the next 12months you deserve it pal......

2,enough about world champ lets talk about me GWAPO,what an amazing tournament ive had,i had to qualify back in holland where i lost first match and didnt fancy the job but somehow i got through.which got me to manila, where things got real crazy,i never believed i could win it until i beat steponov on the tv table, then before i knew it i was in semi final against gomez..its best ive felt an i was 4-0 up..then didnt see a ball again he was class and had afew rolls.
its a shame they didnt show this match coz it was really funny everyone was in bits, the atmosphere was awsum,

3,the phillipines(home of pool) loved the people there everyone really friendly and happy, after my match with gomez they made me feel like david beckham for half hour with pics and autographs,i hope it is there next year its perfect for the worlds.

4,oneside pool hall, what a great pool club this is.its a must see while there.around 11pm it hots up with plenty of action with the likes of reyes, busta, paga, alcano, orcollo.s van boaning, appleton, plus loads of others all battling it out until dawn.i watched paga play orcollo race to 31 for aound $4000 each they made 1 mistake each with orcollo winning 31-30 it was trully amazing to see.

5,i just hope with my effort and my 3rd place i get some invites and some sponsors to help me out next year to try win some major tournaments.my email address is buzzinboyzi@hotmail.co.uk if any offers :-D

boyzi....................1st attempt 3rd

well done pal was proud of you! and was very unlucky in semi final first 4 racks was amazing cueing and was running round table then the rolls all went for gomez he played some bad safetys and got away with them and he got some real good rolls but also he was awesome in the balls! if he played anything like he did against daryl you would have been in final ..but on the other hand you done great and semi final will open lot of doors for you pal you deserve it!

also well done to daryl am just sorry i wasnt there for final i didnt wake up until 7.30pm score was 16-15 lol so i catched last rack on tv well done again great achievement also it installs so much hope and believe into rest of us what you and karl achieved just shows that in 9ball if the mind is strong play good get few rolls anything can happen against the very best players!

like karl said to not have worlds in philippines for me it would never be the same again its the home of pool and people love it and thats where it should be every year! the match with karl and gomez must have been over 700 watching and the atmosphere was just amazing !

to myself i did pretty good in money games did ok in a comp before worlds! with a awesome field over 200 filipinos in it,,also played in world team v philippines after worlds 5 man team our team was me,scott higgins, karl boyes, rodney morris, marcus chamat, v gabica, valle, alcano,de luna, manalo. each player plays everybody on opposite team 10 racks per match 2 pts for a win 1 pt for a draw first to reach 26 pts

we did ok we was only losing 19-17 after day one day 2 we got back it back to 21-19 but then they polished us off! but we got $10,000 for our efforts!

in the qualifiers i played well in 2 of them rest of them played bad! got a semi final but didnt get a chance agaiant jharome pena!

rest of the trip was just mad!

roll on january for 10ball!

I saw Boyzi play for the first time in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and I ws really impressed then with his game.
What he did two years later was unbelievable, players with many more years experience have never made the semifinals of a World Championship. HE can only go onwards and upwards.
Daz ·Fears Nobody" Appleton unfortunately didn´t qualify for the main event but he had some great games in Oneside.
Well done to you both.

I've learned a heck of a lot from watching and playing Boyzi especially watching him in the IPT in Vegas against all the superstars. I'll never forget the game against Ronnie, when Karl choked because of who he was playing and who was watching (Jimmy & Steven lol). After that match you could tell he was disappointed because he knew he should be winning it easily. He went into his next match and destroyed Busta!

Don't know if Karl will agree but I think that was quite a pivotal moment for Karl mentally and he's just gone from strength to strength ever since because he believes in himself and his own ability regardless of what superstar might be watching or he might be playing. This is one reason he's done so well at the WPC IMO and it's no surprise to me.

Well Boyzi himself is the superstar now and good luck to him!

After seeing this I've tried to take it on board myself and believe I can win and it paid dividends having had victories this year over 3 people I probably admire more than anything for general pool ability i.e. Karl, Daz and Mick. 12 months ago I just didn't believe I could win these games.

It's all about belief!
