I am looking for a hard tip to put on my jump/break cue. I have heard that phenolic tips and ferrules are the best. I would appreciate any views, and/or where to purchase hard tips.

You can buy actual break tips that are made solely for break cues and they rock hard and in my opinion just as good as phenolic. Most manufacturers make them and you can buy them from most pool accessory outlets. If you dont like the sound of these then just put a moori hard on there, that will do the trick!! Hope this helps, D4RYL. [ This message was edited by: dazzler on 2006-05-31 17:16 ]

Ahhh the Moori hard, great tip for breaking, not so hot for jumping....it just isn't hard enough. The best Moori tip for breaking is the new Moori POWER tip, holds chalk very well too.
I have plenty of specialist jump/break tips, some made of phenolic, some made of leather.
If anyone requires them, I can pop them in the post. Just PM me and it shall be done.
