There have been alot of threads on tournaments on pro-9 at the mo but not much else so i thought i'd start one asking some random questions so feel free to answer and maybe we can find out some stuff about one another that we didn't know before.
i saw this on AZ and thought i'd copy the idea from their website.

1. most expensive cue you ever shot with?
2. most money you ever lost to a single player in a single session?
3. how long have you been playing?
4. first cue you owned?
5. ever hit someone else with the cue ball off the break?
6. ever broken you cue out of anger?
7. type of tip you use?
8. linen, leather or no wrap?
9. most racks run for 8,9 and 10ball and straight pool high run?
10. favourite discipline?
11. current playing cue and shaft?

1. Had a few cues $2-$3000 in my time, White, Mottey and Waynes.
2. £100 Pub pool, those darn little balls.
3. 21 years - I'm older than I think.
4. Unnamed junker - First custom was a Coker.
5. No - but I smashed a blokes full pint glass, not a happy man.
6. No - but a bloke smashed my cue when I beat him, funny now but scary at the time.
7. Kamui
8. Lizard, leather and pig skin.
9. I beat my mate 19 racks in a row but I did not run them out - it was a chop fest.
10. 8 ball.

1. most expensive cue you ever shot with?
Probably the Diamond's Szamboti (About $15K ?)

2. most money you ever lost to a single player in a single session?
It wasn't too long ago and I don't want to talk about it. :( Thankfully all my other big money matches were for 3 times the amount and I won 'em all.

3. how long have you been playing?
About 18 months American Pool

4. first cue you owned?
Viking off the Diamond

5. ever hit someone else with the cue ball off the break?
No and never been hit either. But I did get kicked in teh face in Solihull recently when going down to a shot near a table where someone was breaking off. They kicked up their legs with the break and hit me in the head!

6. ever broken you cue out of anger?
Yes, it was a beautiful Hunt & O'Byrne snooker cue. I regret it now because they are a sought after cue.

7. type of tip you use?
Moori Soft but next one will be crushed Elk for sure after trying Appleton's.

8. linen, leather or no wrap?
Leather everytime.

9. most racks run for 8,9 and 10ball and straight pool high run?
8 pool - 5, 9 ball - 6, 10 ball - 4 (I think)

10. favourite discipline?
It changes but probably 10 ball right now.

11. current playing cue and shaft?
Wayne Holmes custom with 2 custom 314's and 2 custom 314-2's to match.
