.........kicks of today,
Holland A takes on Indonesia today and will be playing to a home crowd and the betting suggests the Dutch will breeze into the next round. However the strong pairing of Feijen and van den Berg might not have it all their own way. The Indonesian team of Yang and Zulfikri are very much under-rated. Both players have been doing well in the Guinness Asian Pool tour. Although they are not household names, they are well seasoned fearless money players and I dont expect the partisan Dutch crowd to get to them. I don't expect the Indonesians to have the stamina to win the tournament but if you are looking for a first round shock, this could be one.
So my nap of the day, Indonesia to beat Holland A (1pts 4-1 or better Stan James)

It does get recorded/televised but it's not tranmitted live! Your best bet for up to the minute news might be the World Cup of Pool website listed in the Pro9 article.

Alex Lely was retiring from the international scene as he wanted to focus more an his family and social life.. he did accept to play in this tournament because it's hosted in Holland and we get 2 teams to send out.. and he and Rico are the old school players!!! He's also playing in the world championships this year...
