I saw a question on one of the other forums the other day but it seems that there was never a thread about it. Does it make alot of difference between playing with a Predator butt and shaft and playing with a regular butt with predator shaft? I have a maxton cue at the moment and was interested in buying a Predator 5k, 7 maybe, and a predator BK2. Would this make a big difference to my game? I have heard about the feedback that you get from a predator cue is supposidly better than others but will this improve my game faster? [ This message was edited by: Ads on 2007-09-25 09:06 ]

The only thing that will improve your game fast is practise!!! (But, the predator helps because of the low deflection.) Personally I dont think there is a big difference between a predator butt and some other cue butt. The important thing is that the cue has a balance and weight that you like. I changed from a Prather to a P2 after trying several options. The P2 is different from the other Predator series because its is made of 10 piece laminated wood all the way through and therefor it plays different. The BK2 is difficult to control if you are fresh, but my break benefits from it. Dont know if this was much help, but good luck to you ----------------- Ine www.inehelvik.com

i did look at the 3 D's but i cant remember all of them, Determination, Discapline and i cant remember the other one. I know i have these qualities and have invested in an elephant training ball set, as i feel my cueing needs to be wiorked on, and should be getting this on Friday as my partners parents are bringing it back from canada. I have sevral drills that i practice. I do need to go to the hall slightly more often than i do though.

I won it Ads, cheers. How much did you win Sunday Darkside? Enough for a cup of tea perhaps? Cold Tea? Without Milk or Sugar? Or tea! Oh, OK. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2007-09-26 08:18 ]

lol,
maybe we should get some antique shooters and have a dual, in a misty field. honour will be satisfied, and those things are notoriously unaccurate.
Maybe it is the same person with split-personality??
Anyhow friendly competition is healthy.
Mental note to self, dig out antique pistols

I am going to bang both of their heads together soon. I know everyone can't get on but I hate to see two good friends of mine at each other constantly. I think this is just a case of some banter (+ one or two incedents) getting out of hand that has lead to this state of affairs
I hope we can end this and not let it get personal like it did at the weekend.

I dont mean to pry, but im hoping it is something blown up out of proportion, thought it might just of been a bit of banter. didn't mean to add fuel to any fire sorry
