here goes the old "snooker v pool" issue again! its been done to death before...like saying can the top motogp,f1,rally drivers mix it with each others preferred sport? can top squash, tennis, badminton players compete with each other? can a great gaelic footballer ever play top level football? could martin johnson ever have played nfl? etc etc thruout the world of sport. so getting back to the first question...(theres two actually, will there ever be a snooker player 9ball world champ?...prob not. can top up and coming snooker players mix it with pool players?...yes, of course they can,but only if they want to.

Yeah they could mix it! sure Manalo was an asian snooker champion a few yrs back so that makes him pretty handy at both!! I know of a few snooker players who could do very well if they played 9ball competitively

I expect many players of each game are content enough concentrating on their chosen game rather than worrying about beating players of another.

yea i think that the pool playuers would obviously have that small edge cos if the game came down to banks/kicks/jumps ect, pro snooker players may not be able to handle it as well as those shots dont occur in snooker (well.....not often anyway)
