Thanks Guys. I don't mind taking the credit for the website (except the feedback form which needed some clever coding from Mike!). Quite pleased with it for an amateur job seeing as it's my first attempt. At least it's done now so we can start the important job of getting everyone signed up! I know not everyone reads Pro9 or even has internet so please make sure you all tell your friends in the local clubs and get them to sign up. March them to an internet cafe if you have to! I'd also like to say a big thank you to Big Dave for doing such a great job on the front page article on Pro9 at such short notice. The Big Man is a star! Only just made myself a member of the site but I view the pro9 site all the time... It's a great source of info for pool in the uk.
Finally decided to make myself a proper member as I must applaud the gb9 team on doing a great job of setting up the groundwork for what looks set to be a fantastic new pool tour to hopefully send uk pool in the right direction!

If you're getting 12,000 hits a day do you reckon its worth increasing the field to 128?
(By the way, don't ruin the site with a ridiculous number of adverts and banners!)

Pro9.co.uk is currently getting around 2 million hits a month at present, but then we don't have Pamela Anderson's fabulous "assets" now, do we?  12,000 hits a day is incredible for a brand new website... is that 12000 unique visits per day or page impressions? a large number of hits will be from search engine bots for indexing purposes
