Why is it that is nothing like this in the UK??? Maybe there is but i have not been there. Does anyone know where there is a pool hall in the UK that is not just plain & simple Rileys??

There are a few, but they are far between.

o my god what a pool hall. To have a pool hall like that in the uk would be fantastic no snooker in sight, heaven.

Now that is more like it Pete, it would be nice if there were more uptown spots like that, the UK certainly needs it

But the new room in NL takes the prize, the layout, tables, lighting, etc, is just golden

Perhaps a few casinos should have pool clubs/rooms in them, that would be good

Tables aren't looked after and at the end of the day, like Rileys, its a business, it makes its money of being a nightclub/late night bar, so you get hundreds of morons at a weekend, sitting the tables, spilling beer all over them.

Was good in the early days then new owners ruined it, but the manager 'Luke' always kept trying to give the pool players a chance.

On the plus side, its got a separate private room with a pool table and seating for matches and private parties.

Doug ran a pro9 event there when it first opened.
