Well in about October last year, I went down to Wigan to play their 9ball competition! They weren't very happy to see bpppa members come in and beat them out of their own competition!
But this guy respected us for what we were! players wanting to play as much as we could competitively! he just played his game!
I'd like to think that it was our presence which made him turn to 9 ball, but probably not!
This guy's cueing is amazing and he runs racks for fun! And you can tell by watching him that he is going to be right up there when this game hits the big time!
Maybe I don't have the experience to say this but i'm going to anyway!
If I could put money on him winning a major televised event in years to come I would right this second!
Congratulations mate on winning the British Junior Championships and securing your place on Team GB!

Second that Danny. I played him in Leeds a few weeks back and he has 2 great ingredients in his game: solid smooth cueing and a good head. I think he'll be a great player (in fact he already is!) and I'm really pleased for him. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2006-05-23 08:04 ]

Well done Matthew! That must have been quite a performance. I know there was a tough field out there (my mate Ross got to the semis). I hope you take every inspiration from this win and keep up the winning form.
