Hello guys,
more questions from me again.
Im wondering were you can get either replacement ferrules or the raw material they are made from for my cue maker to put on my cue.
i had to replace my ferrule when i returned to oz, but he only has PVC plastic which he uses for 8 ball and snooker cues.
i would like him to replace it with the correct material but dont know where to get it.
thanks in advance sb..

I would choose a cue maker who DOES have the right materials and knowledge to repair your cue, especially if you value your cue. There are plenty out there that accept shaft work by mail and the postage really isn't that expensive (especially when you consider it's being done by an expert).
Would you consider that?

erm, well i have 2 cues for playing, both are 1 pce, and i am in brisbane, postage is alot more for a 1 pce cue in a hard case.
there are no cue makers that make 9 ball cues in brisbane, possibly none in australia.

Fair enough... I know what you mean about 1 piece cue postage rates - and the shortage of American pool tables in Australia in general (that'll teach you for moving to somewhere with lovely weather and friendly people). What size is the tip? I'll contact my man for you and see if we can sort something out.

Normally these are pre-made ferrules mate, and although there's a little bit of "play" possible with the ferrule sizes, it's best to start out with the closest size possible.
