big dave, your info for cowie in india was very impressive and knowing him like i do i can just picture him with 2 poppadoms and 3 onion bhajis right now as he's hill hill with a small blind boy with no cue or chalk..
just to prove you are the oracle of pool info could you tell me where i can get my hands on a ceiling mounted abacus style scoreboard (the one which 2 sets of 15 balls which club 8 in amsterdam use).
tried the usual places but no joy, any advice would be appreciated as my tables about 4 weeks away. cheers, adam...

I'll be after one of those too Dave but Prob another 6 months yet for me. I'm jealous Adam! I just hate waiting for mine. All this stuff about load bearing walls, steelwork, architects, planning permission does my head in. I just want to get mylump hammer, knock the walls down, go round with a lick of paint, stick the table in and start playing! Be sure to send us some pics Adam. cheers kev, it was the most bitter pill to swallow since i started playing 18 months ago because of the magnitude and prestige of the prize, but thats 9 ball !
and riggers, nobody knows more about the chew on of planning permission, founds, clearance and access than me.
i've been through all that trash in the last 6 months, but have stuck at it based on the fact that my local clubs are s... and i want to practice at my leisure rather than write off 3 nights a week on a scalextric covered in purple felt.
best of luck with your pool room riggers and remember theres always a way around things.
i'll post some pics when its all finished..
