Do you remember when we done Dallas on the way to The Challenge of Champions in Vegas. Checked into a motel then went to find a bar. The nearest was 20 miles away - we were in a dry county! I can still see Shaun McDermott's face at that bombshell!
But we played at C J Wileys Pool Room on the table that Earl had run the 11 racks for a million dollars. Boy was that table tight?

Q: What's the difference between Daryl and a coconut?
A: You can get a drink out of a coconut!

I remember when you first got rid of the Twin Shredded Wheats on your head. We were sharing a room at the bogus WPC in Alicante and you used my newly acquired and expensive bottle of shaving oil on your head. With half the bottle gone I could only laugh when you complained about it stinging you!

Well, I had better jump over to this thread seeing how big Dave 'SPOIL SPORT' Knight locked the other thread when I took 2 days off work to write 40 questions for Daryl. All non-pool related of course.

Douglas.......I sure do miss the wise cracks my friend.

I have been meaning to put together some notes from the old days about events and happenings on and off the Pro Tour during the Dougy G days. There was always a story or twenty when Steve Knight was around, lol!! I really, really miss that guy.

Si

Ah, the 'Knight Rider'

Is probably his fault I play 9 Ball. Went to a gaming company exhibition at Earls Court courtesy of Sam Leisure several moons ago. Steve was there along with Fabio Petroni, Ray Allen (?) and some others. Got to talking and playing, actually beat Steve in a best of 3! (Thanks to one outrageous fluke...but who cares!) With his help, and Ray's too, I left the little ball game and joined you lot.

Will tell a funny story about playing Ross McInnes at marbles if interested...

Shaggy

Sorry Daryl! But I've done for now. But both you and Simon can read more about life in the pool world in my book. I have about 500 anectdotes which covers about 400 people. So you will both be in there along with Earl, Efren and company.

Shaggy - Ray was Ray Allard, the trick shot specialist. He is still around and I lost 10-9 to him in the Chichester competition last night.
Yes of course he gave me a start

Yeah Dazzler, good interview, I only had one question but Dave split it into 3. I think he was having a Jeremy Paxon moment, Asking the same thing again and again!!

But 'Believe in yourself and focus on your game.' Wise words. ;-)
