Anybody able to help with directions from the M6 to stretford rileys? Also knowing the best place to park for the day would be useful.
Thanks

the amount of money it would cost me to stick the misses and kids in the trafford centre with all those shops for a weekend i could probably take a nice break in the carribbean! They are best left at home i think !

theres an open car park just opposite the arndale centre, its on other side of the dual carriageway, but theres always spaces, its FREE all day and as its open air, it never shuts so u can even do an ebdon-dott if u wish!

I am informed by someone playing in the event that there are only 44 runners in todays BPPPA event.
Only result I have is that Andy Jeronimidis has beaten Mike Rogers to qualify for the KO stages. But he is not sure how many players qualify

But he is not sure how many players qualify 44 runners is still a good turn-out for the BPPPA Manchester tour, which i think is about the average turnout anyway, on another note have the BPPPA sent out the account sheets yet to all it's members at least people can then see where all the money has gone and they can then feel safe in rejoining later in the year and spending there hard earned £165 again. And by the way I have rang Mr Bristow on 6 seperate occasions to ask for this and as usual was told in the shower, asleep and out, the usual three answers, it would be nice if my calls were returned, (guess there's more chance of me winning a eurotour)..

Correction, there are 39 runners here. Admin Edit: This post originated in Guatemala... I'm not kidding, but whoever "Moneybags" is, he/she is posting from Guatemala so I suggest we all take this post with a "pinch of salt".[ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-06-23 20:42 ]

Not too surprising considering the events of the last month.
Hopefully we will here some sort of official annoucement from the BPPPA in the next few days stating their plans for the future and how they plan to get people back on board.

Actually I'm pleased to see people ARE still supporting the tour. despite the rough patch it's going through. It's easy to support the tour when things are going well, but it's the tough times like this that the tour needs support and encouragement, and if things aren't going quite right, a little guidance. It wasn't that long ago that Ted couldn't do a thing wrong... I appreciate the situation as it stands isn't perfect, but I'm glad to see people tackling the problem in a pro-active manner, continuing to support the tour whilst bringing suggestions for improvement, rather than just being negative and moaning. It seems to me that some ANONYMOUS people want to "put the boot in" now that the chips are down, but it's a much more difficult task to come up with a constructive solution.
