Any one know if these balls are any good? I won a brand new set from ebay for £16 + £12 p+p.

I've watched them being used in some ipt events on tv , but i've never had a chance to play with them myself.

Just wondering peoples opinions on them.

Thanks :)

heres a pic of the balls (didnt know how to attach a pic)

Yeah well it all seemed a bit cheap to me, but no-one really seemed to bid on them so im hoping i was just rather lucky.

I guess theres no way of telling until i get them. I paid for it through paypal so im hoping if theres any problems then i will be safe with paypal, but i dont really know how the process works.

Heres a link to the listing if you're intersted.

EDIT: hmmm link didnt seem to work........ try this

Interestingly, the photo used in the eBay listing is the photo I took of Pat Holtz's set of IPT balls back at Rileys Victoria after the IPT press conference in London.

Hopefully it's a genuine sale and you've got yourself a real bargain... They're easily as good as Brunswick Centennials, and I think they're pretty good looking balls too!

Fingers crossed eh?

I was watching this item, and was going to hijack the bid, but forgot about the end time!

Give you 20 quid for them....:-D

I've heard mixed responses about these balls over at AZ, so any of you who wanted to bid on them might not be missing out on much anyway;)

A couple of people mentioned the fact that the numbers on them are raised (or become raised) causing the balls to take strange lines if hit lightly.

Have played with these balls on 3/4 occasions. Thought they were OK at first but spend some time with them and they do play differently to Aramith Pro Cup. They seem to play heavier / deader if that makes any sense at all. Personally I wasn't keen in the end.

That's definitely the best price I've seen, so once I've recovered from buying my new Pred shaft I'll be very interested indeed!

As it says in the product description we price them according to availability and quality. To be honest, the balls are always immaculate or else we don't buy them, they've generally only been used in a few IPT qualifiers). Even if we're told they are brand new and never been used, we still won't sell them as new if the seal has been broken.

I've just sold a set with a slightly scratched box for £75 (the balls were gorgeous) and I'll have a price shortly for another set as soon as I see them.

OK Dave, thanks for that.

I may be interested in a set at that price.
Does that include shipping?

Shipping is an additional £10.25 (they're VERY heavy remember) and you would receive the balls in 2 days maximum.

Be aware though, that on Tuesday/Wednesday and Thurday next week we will be doing a "Three-Day-Only" FREE SHIPPING promotion on Aramith Super Pro Cup TV Balls - so you may wish to consider those too/instead.

Anyone who wants to buy (or sell) IPT balls should contact me by Private Message or email or phone.

OK Dave, that's understandable.

I've got a set of pro cup's, but looking for a set of IPT's in the near future.
