Ok chaps it seems everyone agrees with me overall that county matches are the way forward and to help raise the profile of the game, it worked out well from the snooker I did some years back now from which the challege tour originated so at least you know I have done it before to a success, Lets get players nominated to there counties I will do a website and put a structure together similar to the snooker a few years back, Ok on the next posts coming up will be the British Counties, including Ireland (ok Paddy), lets base it on a 6 man team with 2 reserves playing 8, 9 and straight pool or maybe even 10 ball other suggestions are welcome, ok example for my area we have Cheshire and Lancashire, Lancashire could include Daryl Peach and Karl Boyes for eg, whilst Cheshire would include Andy Worthing, Neil Jenkins. checkout the Counties below and nominate yourself or someone else, if one county does not have enough then two counties can combine, eg Lancashire and Cheshire, if we can get teams together then we can poll for captains/managers etc.
Ok checkout the list below and lets improve the game for everyone from club players to the top.

I should be able to get a Berkshire team sorted out.... 5 in a team sounds like a good idea to keep it to just one car as well :)

Hi All, Just to make it clear to all including the BPPPA, if we get this started it is to help the game and nothing against the BPPPA, in fact if I pull this off and the BPPPA are interested in county structure do not hesitate to contact me.

crashnburn I am sure to start with you could merge Northamptonshire with another county who struggle to get a team, albeit it needs to be a neighbouring county.
