Well you may be aware that the tournament calendar now has a free weekend at the end of July! And since we have a great new club here where they are recovering the tables as we speak (no purple cloth in sight!) let's take advantage of it and give you a great 9 ball tournament over the whole weekend!
The Barnsley 9 Ball Open will be held on 28/29 July! Watch this space for full details, which will be posted shortly.
With your support we'll make this a great 9 ball event.
Regards,
Shir.

Is there not still going to be a BPPPA ranking event that weekend then?
After all the UK 9 ball Champs was supposed to be the 8th ranking event on the calendar...

Yeh, went to the club last night and the first 5 of 15 tables had been done and they look sooooo much better in blue. Shir & me were saying how it should make a great tournament venue because spectators can easily follow and see the scoreboards on EVERY table. The manager is also very supportive and helpful and takes great pride in his club and tables. Shir is just waiting for Ted's confirmation that there is no clash in the calendar with any BPPPA events then she will post details of the proposed format.

Watch this space.. (Oops... this is Shir, except it's not, it's riggers. Now I'm confused ) [ This message was edited by: shir on 2007-06-06 19:22 ]

Ranking so I'm told. Hopefully Ted is working on the Flyer and will post it on Pro9 soon.
