I realise there is a reasonable selection of pool equipment online in this country now over various sites, but I've really struggled to find shops I can actually go in with any real selection. Hoping people could post about any shops they know in the UK that have a good selection of stock and more specifically a good range of cues.
Good to see the site up again!

The only "bricks and mortar" dedicated American Pool equipment supplier I've ever heard of is:
Billiards Boutique Unit 29 Brewers Quay Hope Square Weymouth Dorset DT4 8TR

Ahh was just looking on their site, going to try and phone a few other places in the morning see if I can find any other shops. Dorset is a bit of a trek from here but can't see any easier way to try the goods before you buy. Cheers for the response.

Swing past Portsmouth and you could give me a lift... I've never visited the shop either but I'd absolutely love to have a nose around.

I've been to the Billiards Boutique, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, I ended up buying a decent jump/break cue there.
It's a small shop, with a website due to be launched soon.

Turns out the Billiards Boutique in Weymouth who run http://www.americanpool-network.co.uk/ are running out their in-store stock, and are starting to get stock when ordered. However they still have a few brands in-store.

I'm sure predator cues have their base in Hull. But then again I might be just making it up!

Visited the Sam Leisure place in Coventry today, they had a small showroom and a warehouse. Had a pretty good selection of cues, balabushkas/buffalo/cuetec/stingers/maxtons. Seems they had quite a few accessories as well and I was pleasantly surprised to hear they sell Moori tips for £10 which is cheaper than I have found online in this country. Would have liked to have visited the shop in Weymouth but its little under 3hrs from where live Cheers for the input guys, if anyone else has any info its all greatly appreciated!

Here's some links for you www.worldofbilliards.co.uk They are the UK's Brunswick dealers SAM leisure are a bit on the pricey side with their equipment, but it might not be the case now as it's been 6 uears since I ordered anything from them Definitely go with American Pool Network though, they have good prices and good selection, I have ordered with them before and I've been very happy with the equipment and service , in fact I'm ordering a Meucci Hi-Pro 1 from them this Friday coming and I'm looking forward to shooting some serious pool again You could also visit BCE in Bristol as well, but they never seem to bother with their website, which is pretty stupid Anyways, I hope this helps, but make sure you shop around first Take care everyone, Laterz
