daz lost 7-1 today in his 4th qualifier, last chance tomorrow, says its easier winning a euro tour than getting thru here, last 16 he got beat, boysie lost 15-11 last night at 8ball for 200quid,was 4-0 up as well, early night for those boys i think

So in all reality its down to the points system in place and finish as high as possible on that and hope a few guys dont turn up...

well still hope for darren tomorrow though so who knows he may still do it!!!

Maybe worthwhile for Darren to enter more eurotour events as he is only only 600 points off the top 32 and a couple of big results will catapult him into those automatic spots given to the EPBF and qualify for the worlds in 2008 and then not have to go thru this cut throat business of the qualifiers.

plus for malaga and the 2nd tour where ever it should be he doesn't have to worry about losing points as he wasn't at the 1st 2 tours of this year.

Really hope Darren wins his place in Worlds. He deserves it and has genuine chance of winning it IMO.

Saw Darren beat the disher a few weeks ago and although Darren himself will tell you he can play much better. He still looked a class act.

I thinks he will need to look outside the uk to get big money games in future.

can only say the talent out there is huge as hearing darren is 5-1 down with the alternate break is amazing.

Come on Darren!!!

does anyone know what the table looks like for the guys who have not qualified i.e. the points system for getting so far is?

judging by darrens results he must have around 10-12 points just be good to see how many players in front of him then hope that a few players drop out of the main event.

Thanks again lee for the updates!!

Lost 7.1 :(

Let's hope for the points system to save him now.

I'm pretty sure he'll be playing in them all from now on and I'd be very surprised if he doesn't qualify automatically next year. I reckon the Tommy game could be a big turning point in his game 'cos he really worked hard for that and turned on the class.

i would love to play in this event one day, i just seem to be stuck in a rut at the moment hovering around the same standard of play. seeming as i have got years ahead of me i'll just have to practice practice practice and force my game to a higher level lol
